Refund policy

A considered purchase

Each artwork at Studio De Elysian is created slowly and offered in limited form.
For this reason, all sales are treated as final, except in cases of damage or error.

We encourage collectors to review artwork details, dimensions, and descriptions carefully before completing a purchase.

Returns

Due to the nature of original artworks and limited editions:

We do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind, personal preference, or ordering errors.

This includes:

  • Original artworks
  • Limited edition prints
  • Commissioned or custom works

Damaged or incorrect items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If your artwork arrives:

  • damaged, or
  • defective, or
  • different from what was ordered

please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at:

Include:

  • your order number
  • clear photographs of the packaging and artwork
  • a short description of the issue

If the claim is approved, we will offer one of the following:

  • a replacement (if available), or
  • a full refund, or
  • a partial refund (where appropriate)

Commissions & custom works

All commissioned or custom artworks are non-refundable and non-returnable once creation has begun.

This includes:

  • size variations
  • colour preferences
  • theme-based commissions

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges, as each artwork is unique.

European Union customers (14-day cooling-off rule)

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you may request a cancellation within 14 days of delivery, only if:

  • the artwork is unused
  • in original condition
  • in original packaging

Return shipping costs and insurance are the responsibility of the buyer.

Once received and inspected, an approved refund will be processed within 10 business days.

Custom and commissioned works remain exempt from this rule.

Refund processing (when applicable)

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days after inspection.

Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to reflect the transaction.
